Meaning: O Allah, You are my Lord, none has the right to be worshipped except You. You created me and I am Your servant. I abide by Your covenant and promise as best I can. I seek refuge in You from the evil I have committed. I acknowledge Your favor upon me and I acknowledge my sin, so forgive me, for none forgives sins except You.
The Prophet (pbuh) said: "Whoever says this during the day with firm faith and dies that day before evening, will enter Paradise." (Sahih Bukhari)
When You Keep Falling Into the Same Sin
Struggling with the same sin repeatedly does not mean your tawbah is rejected. The Prophet (pbuh) said:
"By the One in Whose hand is my soul, if you did not sin, Allah would replace you with people who would sin and then seek His forgiveness, and He would forgive them."
— Sahih Muslim
Allah knows your struggle. Keep making tawbah. Keep trying. The fact that you feel remorse is itself a sign of iman (faith).
